We had a good read. For the benefit of yourself. Be sure to read to the end. I want you to get good knowledge from Plastic Surgery In Dallas.

Four years ago my weight had gotten so out of operate that I was highly depressed and ashamed. I was embarrassed to go out in social for fear that I would run into person that I knew. The saddest part was that my daughter was (and still is) a customary personal trainer with a prestige of being one of the best in the entire Dallas-Fort Worth area. Can you believe that I had her help and keep available to me and chose food instead?

I could come up with every excuse in the book: I lived too far away from her to meet her at the gym; I was getting older and no one truly cared how I looked; I would have to buy all new clothes if I lost the weight, and so on and so on. She was so sweet and, being the professional that she is, she never pressured me. She just made sure that I all the time knew that she was there for me when I was ready to accept her help.

I had spent years watching the scale go up and down. I had lost so much weight in the past that they turned me down when I tried to donate blood once. They said I didn't meet their minimum weight requirement! The question was that I just couldn't keep the weight off. Food is too good and I hate feeling hungry.

Finally, I got up one morning and knew that it was time for a change. I hated myself. I was sick of citizen telling me what a pretty face I had. That's code for "what happened to the rest of your body?" I started a modified version of the Atkins Diet. I bought Ketostix at the drugstore to monitor the ketones in my urine and I started cutting the carbs. Until I learned what I could eat I would spend hours at the grocery store checking every label for the carbohydrate content. I cut out all white foods (sugar, flour, rice, potatoes, etc.). I kept my carb intake below 30 grams per day and never felt hungry! The best part was that I made the commitment to working out 3 days per week with my daughter. In no time the weight was just falling off. But as great as that was there was even more...I felt great, my cholesterol and blood pressure dropped dramatically and my physician was amazed. He cut back my medications and was blown away by my success.

I found myself truly finding forward to my rehearsal days. I started running around the track instead of walking. I got compliments galore and all of my aches and pains were gone. In less than eight months I lost 65 pounds and looked great!

The moral of my story is:

I am living proof that a low carb diet is healthy. When you lower your weight as well as your cholesterol and blood pressure you know that you are doing something right. So, if you are finding for something that truly works, check with your physician and then think it. It worked for me!
